2017/18 ABA League Regular Season, Round 7, Saturday, 4.11.2017:
Where? Dom sportova, Zagreb
When? 19:00
Story of the game: In Dom sportova, Cedevita will be hosting Petrol Olimpija in a clash of two games that are currently not entirely satisfied with their position in the ABA League standings, but are currently in excellent shape. While Cedevita are on a winning streak both in the ABA League and Eurocup, where they have won their two encounters, Petrol Olimpija have grabbed a road win in the Basketball Champions League in Spain against Estudiantes and at home in the domestic championship against Sixt Primorska.
Now, they will be battling to improve their score in the ABA League. For Cedevita, a new victory would mean that they would stay in touch with the very top, where they believe that they belong, while Dragons would get the opportunity to rise towards the middle of the standings in the ABA League and exit the danger zone.
While Cedevita will appear this time without Marko Arapović and Lovro Buljević, Petrol Olimpija cannot count on Jan Barbarič and Talor Battle.
Match-up in focus: It will be a high-flying match-up in the paint, where two exceptionally athletic Americans will face each other. Chris Johnson will try to overpower Jordan Morgan. But will he be up to the challenge?
Head to head in regional league: In total 11:5; In Zagreb 7:1.
