Battle for upper half of the standings – FMP host Mega Bemax
In the opening game of the ninth round of the ABA League season, FMP are set to host Mega Bemax in a local derby in Belgrade.

Story of the game: The ninth round of the ABA League is set to start and it will open with the domestic derby of FMP and Mega Bemax in Belgrade. It will be a battle of two young and extremely talented teams, that both have the same goal.
Both of them need to win in order to find themselves in the upper half of the standings after nine games played, since FMP are currently at the fifth game in the standings with 4 wins and defeats apiece, while Mega Bemax have a victory less at the moment.
Each of the two teams will also seek a way to return to the winning path, after they have both been defeated in the 8th round.
Match-up in focus: Two excellent point guards will be in focus this time, as youngster Nikola Rebić of Mega Bemax will try to prove that he is better than FMP’s Filip Čović. It will be an exceptionally tough task, as Čović is playing in excellent shape at the moment… just like Rebić! Can he do it?
