Story of the game: The year 2017 is behind us, while now it time to officially start the 2018 ABA League journey. In the first match in the new year Crvena zvezda mts will host Petrol Olimpija in Belgrade.
The red & whites are in pretty good form as they have scored 7 consecutive wins in the ongoing ABA League season. On top of that, Crvena zvezda mts have triumohed in their last EuroLeague game in the previous year, so they are full of confidence in front of this match.
On the other side, Petrol Olimpija have finished the last year with 3 consecutive defeats in the regional competition and if they want to stay in the race for the Playoffs they need to get back on the winning track as soon as possible. There is no doubt that a win against the reigning champions would significantly boost the morale of the Dragons…
