Story of the game: Is there a better way to end this ABA League week than to watch one of the biggest basketball derbies of the entire region? Monday evening brings us the big clash between Zadar and Cibona.
The home team now only have slim chances to reach the Playoffs, as they are 3 wins behind Mornar who is holding the 4th spot. On top of that, Zadar have stayed without their best player Josh Bostic, who left the club, so the atmosphere in this basketball city is not so bright as it was couple of weeks before. Still, none of that matters when Zadar are playing against their biggest rivals – Cibona. The fans will definitely come to Krešimir Ćosić Hall in large numbers and will try to help the home side to score a sweet win.
Cibona are on a losing streak, as they have suffered 5 consecutive defeats in ABA League. That's why they will be especially motivated on Monday evening to beat their old rivals and to finally get back on the winning track.
