Olimpija host Partizan in Dragon’s lair

Story of the game: Two former champions of the regional league will be battling in the legendary Tivoli Sports Hall in Ljubljana, as Petrol Olimpija will host Partizan NIS! It will be a battle of two teams with great tradition and one of the true classic clashes of the regional club basketball.
While Petrol Olimpija will be seeking for a way to improve their impression of the season and to climb a bit higher in the standings than the eighth place that they are currently occupying it seems that Partizan NIS have a bit more to fight for, as they still haven’t lost their mathematical chances for reaching the Playoffs zone. They are currently two wins behind fourth placed Mornar and in case Mornar lose all three games until the end and Partizan NIS win all three, the black and white would be playing in the Playoffs. However, if Mornar win the first game of the round, the dream would be over for the Belgrade side.
Currently, both teams are on a rise, as Petrol Olimpija have won the last two games and two of their last five. On the other end, Partizan NIS have won their last game and four of the last five.
