National Championships: Olimpija advance to the Finals
Petrol Olimpija will play in the 2017/18 Slovenian Championship Finals! Zadar beat Cibona in game 1 of the 2017/18 Croatian Championship Semi-Finals. Igokea were defeated by Zrinjski in Game 1 of the Bosnia & Herzegovina Finals.

It was another busy day in the national championships around the region.
The most reasons for joy will have Petrol Olimpija as they defeated Rogaška on the road and advanced to the 2017/18 Slovenian Championship Finals!
At the same time, Krka overpowered Sixt Primorska in Novo mesto and tied the series to 1:1. Therefore, the two finalists of 2018 ABA League 2 Final Four will play the third game which will decide which team will join Petrol Olimpija in the 2017/18 Slovenian Championship Finals.
Zadar is celebrating this Saturday evening as the local basketball heroes defeated arch rivals Cibona in Game 1 of the 2017/18 Croatian Championship Semi-Finals, played in Krešimir Ćosić Arena. Therefore, Zadar came just a win away from advancing to the finals.
This was also a special night in Mostar as Zrinjski prevailed over Igokea at home court in Game 1 of the 2017/18 Bosnia & Herzegovina Finals. Zrinjski have therefore taken the lead in this series, which is being played in the best-of-5 format.
