ABA League clubs are facing new challenges in the European competitions. Let’s start with EuroLeague, as Budućnost VOLI are in front of the clash against Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos. The Blue squad suffered quite a shocking defeat in the last round of ABA League, so they will now try to bounce back and score their first win in the 2018/19 EuroLeague season.
In EuroCup, Crvena zvezda mts will host Galatasaray on Tuesday evening. The red and whites are still perfect in ABA League, while they suffered their very first defeat in EuroCup last week. Now, they have a chance to get back on the winning track in this competition, while according to the latest info, they will have a huge help from the stands in that attempt as the whole gym will be sold out for the upcoming match.
On Wednesday, Cedevita will face Turkish side Tofas on the road. The Orange crew have significantly improved the atmosphere inside the locker room after scoring that incredible win against Budućnost VOLI last weekend and they will try to use the momentum to score another win in EuroCup.
Partizan NIS have also traveled to Turkey to play against Turk Telekom. The black & whites parted ways with their head coach Nenad Čanak after suffering 5 defeats in a row, counting all competitions. We are about to see what will be the team reaction on that change.
After losing the Sunday’s game against Mega Bemax in ABA League, Mornar will try to get back on the winning path in the home match against Lithuanian team Rytas. It is very important for the Bar side to score the win in this clash as then they would fully rejoin the race for the next stage.
In FIBA Champions League, Petrol Olimpija are still winless, but they will try to change that in Tuesday’s away game against Belgian side Filou Oostende. We are about to see if the Dragons had enough time to recover from the heart-breaking defeat against Cibona in the last round of ABA League.
