EL: Budućnost VOLI were defeated by PAO
The squad from Podgorica was very close to upset the Greek powerhouse.

Unfortunately, Budućnost VOLI remained winless in the 2018/19 EuroLeague regular season as they were defeated by Panathinaikos Athens in Round 5.
The squad from Podgorica have played perhaps their best game in EuroLeague in this season and they were close to pull off a major upset against the Greek powerhouse… However, they stayed short for couple of points.
In a dramatic finish, Budućnost VOLI had a chance to reduce the gap to just 2 points, but Alen Omić missed an open lay-up on 18 seconds before the end (67:71). In the remaining time Nikos Pappas scored 1 free-throw and made the final score- 67:72.
