Story of the game: With just two rounds left to be played in the 2018/19 ABA League regular season, this match might be crucial for both Petrol Olimpija and Cedevita.
Petrol Olimpija currently share the last place on the standings with Krka, so in order to avoid relegation the Dragons have to finish the regular season in front of their local rivals. That's why Olimpija's troops will be fully motivated to win the upcoming match against Cedevita, as it might actually bring them the ticket for the 2019/20 ABA League season.
On the other side, Cedevita are all tied with Budućnost VOLI at the 2nd place on the standings, but the Zagreb squad have the head to head advantage. It means that if Cedevita win both of their games in the rest of the regular season they will claim the 2nd position and will therefore have a precious home court advantage in the Playoffs Semi-Finals. And that's quite a good reason for the Orange side to give everything they got in the Sunday's match in Ljubljana.
