WC: Birčević and Simonović rolled over Angola with Serbia
In their first game at the 2019 World Cup, Serbia have outplayed Angola and have achieved their first victory on the way to achieve their goal – climb to the top of the competition.

There has really been no doubt regarding the final outcome of the game between Angola and Serbia, as the Serbian National Team, with Partizan NIS’ Stefan Birčević and Cedevita Olimpija’s Marko Simonović aboard, have stepped up since the very beginning and cruised calmly until the victory at the end of the game.
By the end of the first quarter they led by 9 points (20:29), by halftime already by 18 (32:50) and the winners were decided. In the end, the final score was 59:105 in favour of Serbia, for which Bogdan Bogdanović scored 24 points, while Nikola Jokić and Nikola Milutinov added 14 each.
