2019/20 ABA League teams – Krka

Krka and their fans are certainly hoping to have a less stressful season that they had over the year. Recall that the Green troops secured their ABA League status in the final round of the past season after beating their big rivals Petrol Olimpija at home court.

With that victory the club goal for the 2018/19 season was fulfilled. Krka have remained part of the top division and they had the whole summer to make preparations for another ABA 1 journey.

The team management has decided to keep most of the last-season roster, including the head coach Simon Petrov, who will still the squad from Novo mesto.

As far as the players are concerned Luka Lapornik, Paolo Marinelli, Dalibor Đapa, Tim Osolnik, Martin Jančar Jarc, Miha Škedelj, Jakov Stipaničev, Žiga Fifolt, Jure Balažič and Marko Jošilo will still be wearing the green colors, while four newcomers have joined the team so far - Ivan Ramljak (Cedevita), Leon Stergar (youth team), Glenn Cosey (VEF Riga) and Gani Lawal (Shiga Lakestars).

This team most certaimly has the quality required to play in the top-class league such is ABA. They have some very young and talented players, and they have some guys who are full of experience. Have no doubt that Krka’s 2019/20 squad will have a lot things to say in the upcoming season.
