EL: Zvezda were defeated by Efes
The red & whites suffered defeat in Istanbul.

Crvena zvezda mts are returning from Turkey empty-handed as they were defeated by Anadolu Efes in the 5th round of the 2019/20 EuroLeague regular season. The red & whites had a slow start and they were down by 12 already after the opening quarter. Still, the Belgrade troops did not surrender and after reducing the gap bit by bit they managed to take over the lead in the 3rd quarter.
However, Zvezda haven’t kept that lead for a long time. Anadolu Efes increased the pace in the final 10 minutes and secured a comfortable win at the end.
Crvena zvezda mts will play their next EuroLeague game already on Thursday when they will host Russian side Khimki.
