EC: Cedevita Olimpija down Brescia and stay in the race for TOP 16

Cedevita Olimpija are still in the race for the 2019/20 EuroCup TOP 16 stage! The boys from Ljubljana defeated Germani Brescia Leonessa in Round 8 of the group stage and they are now just 1 win outside the TOP 16 zone in Group C.
What is also very important is that Cedevita Olimpija managed to beat Germani Brescia Leonessa by more than 8 points, which means that they now have a better head-to-head score against the Italian team.
The hero of the day for the Dragons was Codi Miller-McIntyre. Not just that the American point guard was the top scorer of the home team with 14 points, but he also made the crucial steal, with just 15 seconds remaining on the game clock, and then he scored the 2-pointer and 1! That way, Miller-McIntyre gave Cedevita Olimpija the 9-point lead – 71:62, while couple of moments later Filip Krušlin made the final score by scoring two free throws – 73:62.
