The reigning ABA League champions performed a stunning comeback in the 2nd half to beat the Greek giant. Zvezda were down by 10 points at the halftime, but then Lorenzo Brown stepped up for the home team. The American point guard scored 34 points tonight, with most of them coming in the 2nd half of the game. Also, Billy Baron’s role in the 4th quarter was very important, as his 2 three-pointers at the start of the last period pushed Crvena zvezda mts toward the win.
Crvena zvezda mts and Olympiacos Piraeus are now all tied on the 2019/20 EuroLeague standings as both sides have the overall score of 6-9.
