Analysis: Player Efficiency Leaderboards
Through the first 15 rounds of ABA League play, 50 players are using over 10 possessions per game and 127 are using over 5 per game. The higher volume group scores an average of 0.96 points per possession while the medium-volume group averages a marginally lower 0.95 per possession. The table below lists the most efficient offensive players at those two thresholds of offensive usage.

Over 15 games with two teams, 35-year-old forward Lance Harris leads all players in offensive efficiency thanks to his consistently strong shooting both off the catch and off the dribble.
Five high volume players other than Harris are scoring over 1.1 points per possession including three from FMP. Duop Reath, Stefan Đorđević, and Aleksa Radanov have carried a significant burden for the league’s third most efficient offensive team. Few teams in recent history have a trio of high-volume players with comparable combined efficiency.
Crvena zvezda mts also places three players on the high-volume list, albeit in the second tier. Billy Baron, Lorenzo Brown, and James Gist have all by very dynamic at times for the league’s most efficient unit.
Krka, Cibona, and Cedevita Olimpija all have one especially efficient high-volume scorer this season. Glenn Cosey is an interesting case joining Harris as one of only 7 players using over 15 possessions per game and one of only 4 of those players scoring over 1.00 points per possession. Creating his own shot extensively, Cosey’s ability to score efficiently off the dribble has shined for Krka.
On the other side of the ledger, Marcus Paige has come on very strong in recent rounds. Paige shot the ball fairly well in his first season in Europe last season, but he has taken a huge step forward in that regard this season finding his range from beyond the arc to great effect for Partizan.
Marko Jeremić is among the only other players in the ABA League this season scoring over 1.2 points per possession. Jeremić has been one of the competition’s deadliest set shooters. Charles Jenkins sits right on the edge of that group able to pick and choose his spots for a talented Zvezda team.
Mornar places two big men on this list, albeit for far different reasons. Damir Markota has done much of his damage from the perimeter while Uros Luković has scored almost exclusively inside.
