Over 16 games, Marko Jeremić leads all players in points scored per jump shot. Playing a significant role off the bench for FMP, Jeremić has rebounded from a below average shooting year last season by his standards. A dangerous threat from 3 who does a great job setting his feet quickly and will fire up shots very aggressively, Jeremic has been key to FMP’s offensive success as he not only spaces the floor, but also makes shots off of screens and in transition at an excellent rate.
Suad Šehović has been near the top of this list for several seasons and it is his extreme shot selection that always stands out. Šehović has not attempted any layups or floaters within Budućnost's half court offense so far this season. He did attempt a single two-point jump shot—he had his foot on the line accidentally once in mid-December. Embracing his role and seldom deviating from it, Šehović is a career 36% three-point shooter in the ABA League—his development as a floor spacer came later in his career.
Charles Jenkins adapted quickly to the international three-point line after spending his first two seasons in the NBA. What sets Jenkins apart on this list is that only 60% of his jump shots have been three-pointers—he has proven to be a dangerous midrange shooter off the dribble as well. Nearly automatic when left open, he remains one of the ABA League’s most dangerous low-volume scorers.
Marcus Paige deserves a lot of credit for his shooting this season—the very best of his entire career regardless of level by a wide margin. Paige has long been a very good shooter, but he has been deadly both off the catch and off the dribble this season. The lefty has gotten stronger improved his balance on his release and could rank even higher on this list if he did not have to handle the ball late in the shot clock.
Boriša Simanić is the lone big man on this list standing 208 cm. The 21-year old has flashed a unique skill level for his size over the years, but his consistency as a shooter has blossomed in his early 20’s. A reliable spot up shooter who can also pick and pop consistently, Simanic gives Zvezda some versatility as a shot maker.
