On April 16, 2004, FMP and Crvena zvezda played one of the most spectacular semi-final games in the history of ABA League. FMP triumphed after an epic double-overtime battle by 113:110, while the Panthers eventually went on to win the championship at the 2004 Final Four played in Zagreb.
Two big records were set in this match.
By scoring 113 points, FMP have set the all-time ABA League Playoffs & Final Tournaments record for most points scored in a single game. Interesting enough, Zvezda's 110 points in this match still remains the 2nd best score ever recorded in the ABA Playoffs & Final Tournaments.
At the same time, Crvena zvezda shooting guard Igor Rakočević set the all-time ABA League Playoffs & Final Tournaments record for the highest index rating achieved in a single game by one player. Rakočević had the index rating of 49 in this game.
