PRESEASON: Victories for Cedevita Olimpija, Borac, Zadar and Crvena zvezda mts

Four ABA League teams scored wins this Wednesday evening in their prep games, while two suffered defeats.

In the clash between two ABA League sides, Borac defeated FMP by 112:83 in Belgrade. It was by far the best performance of the Čačak squad in the ongoing preseason, while their top scorer this evening was Uroš Čarapić with 19 points. On the other side, Stefan Đorđević scored 18 points for FMP.

We had another ABA League clash this Tuesday evening and it was the first out of two scheduled friendly games between Zadar and Split. This one was played in Krešimir Ćosić Hall and it was home team Zadar who prevailed - 86:72. Dominic Gilbert was the top scorer of Zadar as he finished the match with 19 points, while on the other side Pavle Marčinković made 13 points for Split.

Zadar and Split will play their second friendly match on Saturday, September 12, while that game will be played in BC Split Hall.

Cedevita Olimpija scored quite a big preseason win this evening as they outplayed German powerhouse Bayern Munich in Ljubljana – 82:65. What is interesting about the scoresheet is that the four best scorers of Cedevita Olimpija are all newcomers. Kendrick Perry made 14 points, Ivan Marinković and Alen Hodžić added 13 points each, while Roko Leni Ukić scored 11 points.

Crvena zvezda mts made quite a powerful opening at the Gloria Cup in Antalya as they defeated Turk Telekom by 83:54. Jordan Loyd and Dejan Davidovac were the top scorers in the red & white team as both of them finished the match with 17 points, while Duop Reath made a double-double performance with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
