At the match of the 3rd round between Budućnost VOLI and Borac, Nikola Ivanović achieved 27 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and a valuation of 32 in 30 minutes spent on court. He had the second highest valuation of the round in the ABA League, behind Jurij Macura of Koper Primorska.
However, the fact that Ivanović did not use his quality just to rise to the top of the statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat Borac, unlike the stats of Macura in the game of his Koper Primorska against Igokea is what earned him the MVP of the round honour.
