EC: All four ABA League squads qualified for Top 16

With the win over Budućnost VOLI, Mornar have became the fourth ABA League team to qualify for the EuroCup Top 16 stage of the competition, meaning that all four of the ABA League representatives in this European competition (Budućnost VOLI, Cedevita Olimpija, Mornar and Partizan NIS) have reached the second stage.

In the ABA League clash in Morača, Mornar have prevailed over Budućnost VOLI after a close game, which went Bar team’s way in the end, with the final score of 84:78. For Mornar, Jacob Pullen shined this time as he has put in 20 points, while Marko Jeremić scored 13. On the other side, Nikola Ivanović contributed 17 points for the hosts and young gun Fedor Žugić scored 14.

On the road in Patras, Cedevita Olimpija have beaten Promitheas and scored their 7th win of the EuroCup season in 10 games played so far. In order to finish the Regular Season Group D on first place, they now only need Dolomiti Energia Trento to prevail over Herbalife Gran Canaria in the Round 10. Against Promitheas, Cedevita Olimpija have quickly pulled away and led by 11 points already at halftime. In the second half of the game, their win has even increased and crossed the 20-point margin. In the end, the score was 105:69 in favour of the Dragons, which is the highest win achieved by any team in the EuroCup this season. Jaka Blažič was the top scorer of Cedevita Olimpija this time, as he scored 18 points, while Kendrick Perry added 15.
