Široki grab overtime win over Helios Suns after major comeback
In the opening game of the Saturday’s ABA League 2 programme, Široki have grabbed an overtime win over Helios Suns after coming up with a major 4th quarter comeback, at the Banja Luka Regular Season Tournament and the second one this season.

In the opening game of the Saturday’s ABA League 2 programme, Široki have grabbed an overtime win over Helios Suns after coming up with a major 4th quarter comeback, at the Banja Luka Regular Season Tournament and the second one this season.
This win keeps Široki in the battle for the ABA League 2 Playoffs after seven rounds, even though they will need to keep grinding in the remaining two tournaments in order to accomplish their goal, as they are now on a 3/7 record. On the other end, Helios Suns are now in a difficult situation, as they own only one win after 7 rounds played so far.
Helios Suns have been the better of the two sides since the beginning, as they have been up by 12 points already after the opening quarter and increased their lead to 13 by halftime. In the second half they increased the margin to the 20 points, however, Široki fougth back after a great 4th quarter performance (11:30) and forced an overtime with the score of 69:69.
In the extra five minutes, Široki have prevailed, as they have started the added time with a 5:0 run and did not let go of their lead until the very end, when the score was 72:77.
