Game recap: In the last game this weekend in the ABA League, Zadar have prevailed over Split in the local derby of Dalmatia, on the road in Gripe. It is a huge win for the blue and white not only due to prestige, but also due to its importance in their battle to avoid the danger zone at the bottom of the ABA League standings, where both of the two squads are now placed in a similar position, with 5 wins grabbed so far (just as many as Krka and FMP and one more than Borac). It is also a sweet revenge for Zadar for the home-court defeat in ABA League Round 5.

Key moments: Zadar have controlled the flow of the game since its very opening, as they have limited Split to zero points in the opening 4 and a half minutes, going 10:0 up at the start. Later in the game, they have managed to even increase their lead and by halftime, they were in front by no less than 16 (48:32). The battle for a pair of points was over.

Man of the match: Chinanu Onuaku was simply brilliant for Zadar this time. He had a double double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, alongside 3 assists, 1 steal and block each and a valuation of 41. He is rightfully our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Zadar won the rebounding battle 27:22, as well as the one in turnovers, as they had 12 turnovers in comparison with 17 of Split. This was crucial on their way the the win
