Igokea grab a huge road win as they beat Partizan NIS in Belgrade

Game recap: Igokea have made a huge step forward in the Playoffs race as they defeated Partizan NIS on the road. The boys from Laktaši have defeated the black-and-whites for the 2^nd time in this season and have therefore improved their season score to 14-3. On the other side, Partizan NIS have suffered their 10^th defeat in this season and their current season record is 7-10.

Key moments: Igokea have been in front during most of the match, but Partizan NIS managed to take over the lead late in the 3^rd quarter 62:61. Still, that lead of the home team did not last for a long time. Igokea made the crucial 9:0 run to get back in front – 70:62, while it is worth mentioning that Partizan NIS haven’t scored a single point in the opening four-and-a-half minutes of the 4^th quarter. Igokea have managed to keep their lead until the end mostly thanks to today’s man of the match Marko Jošilo.

Man of the match: Marko Jošilo scored 16 points this evening, while he made 10 out of those 16 points in the final 5 minutes of this game! Jošilo single-handedly managed to keep Igokea in front in the key moments and for that he deserved the MVP of the match award.

Can’t trick the stats: Partizan NIS have once again had many problems in making their 3-point shots. This evening the black-and-whites had 27 attempts for 3 points and they have made just 8 of them.
