While waiting for the next ABA League round, let's keep our fingers crossed for all regional clubs who are playing in European competitions this week.

Another European week is in front of the ABA League clubs.

Crvena zvezda mts will once again play two EuroLeague games in just couple of days. The red-and-whites will firstly host Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening, while then they will face Olympiacos Piraues on the road on Friday evening. Crvena zvezda mts are on a 6-game losing streak in EuroLeague, but it should be mentioned that most of those defeats came during the period in which several very important players were sidelined due to illness. The red-and white troops now had a weekend off in ABA League, so they finally had some time to regenerate and prepare for the upcoming challenges and hopefully they will find a way to get back on the winning track in the following games.

A very important EuroCup week is in front of the ABA League clubs.

Mornar will host Herbalife Gran Canaria on Tuesday evening and if they win this match they will significantly improve their chances for reaching the next stage. Actually, if the boys from Bar win both of their two remaining games in the Top 16 stage, they will almost certainly advance to the Playoffs. This week they are playing against Herbalife Gran Canaria in Bar, while next week they will face MoraBanc Andorra on the road.

At the same time, Cedevita Olimpija have a match point to seal their place in the next stage, but in order to do that they will need to beat no other than mighty Virtus Bologna in Ljubljana on Tuesday evening.

While Virtus Bologna have already secured the 1st place in Group G, Cedevita Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI are fighting for the 2nd place and we are about to see if that race will be over already this week or perhaps everything will be decided in 7 days when Cedevita Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI will face each other in the Top 16 final round.

Budućnost VOLI will play against JL Bourg on the road on Wednesday evening and they need to win that match and to hope that Cedevita Olimpija will lose against Virtus Bologna in order to stay in the race for the next stage.

Finally, Partizan NIS will travel to Italy to face Dolomiti Energia Trento on Wednesday evening. The black-and-whites have some major problems with injuries ahead of this very important match, still it is worth mentioning that they defeated the Italian side in the first part of the Top 16 stage by no less than 28-point margin – 71:43. It is important to say that even if they lose this match, Partizan NIS will keep their chances for qualifying to the next stage.

Igokea are about to start their FIBA Champions League Top 16 stage as they will host Lenovo Tenerife this Wednesday evening. Igokea are placed in Group J, alongside Lenovo Tenerife, Hereda San Pablo Burgos and VEF Riga, while the top two teams will progress to the next stage. Hopefully, one of those two will be Igokea.
