Chinanu Onuaku has proven, throughout the month of February, his dominance at the ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and besides the fact that he finished the month amongst the statistically most efficient players, he deserved himself the award with his contribution to the team's success – Zadar have won both of their games during that month and are currently on a 4 games long winning streak.

The excellent big man in the ranks of the Višnjik squad averaged 17 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and a valuation of 29 during the games of Zadar, which puts him on the first place in the rankings in valuation for the month of February.

And what’s the main reason for excellent performances by the former NBA player, that is now thrilling Dalmatian basketball fans? “There’s no real secret, I’m just playing basketball and enjoying it. This is what I do.”

Chinanu has revealed what’s been the main reason for Zadar’s resurrection lately in the regional competition. For sure it is the team performance of all his teammates: “We have been playing together as a team. We’re getting more and more comfortable on the court in each and every game, so if we are going to continue to play as a team on both ends of the court and continue to rebound well, we’re going to have a good season.”

And what about the rest of the season? “We want to go out for every game and try to win every single one of them. We need to play as hard as we can. There’s no particular goal on my mind, we just need to give our best and see where this takes us,” Onuaku told about the goals for the final 7 rounds.
