POST-GAME COMMENTS

Game recap: FMP have scored a very valuable road win as they defeated Krka in postponed game of Round 13. The Panthers have therefore made huge step toward securing their ABA League status for the next season as they now have 6 wins in their 2020/21 season record , while they also sealed a better head-to-head score against Krka.

It is also interesting to mention that this was the 7^th win in a row for FMP in the games vs. Krka.

Key moments: In the middle of the 3^rd quarter FMP were up by just 5 points – 55:50. Just 10 minutes later, in the middle of the 4^th quarter, the visitors had a 24-point lead – 85:61. The Belgrade side simply dominated the court in that 10-minute period. They scored some key 3-pointers which helped them escape on a big lead in such a short time.

Man of the match: FMP presented a fantastic team performance this evening in Novo mesto and it is hard to pick just one player for the MVP award. Six players of the visiting side have reached double digits, but let’s say that 21-year-old Marko Pecarski should perhaps get the man of the match recognition as he made his first double-double in this season – 14 points, 10 rebounds.

Can’t trick the stats: FMP made 17 rebounds more than Krka and 13 assists more than Krka. Simply the visitors were a lot better team this evening.
