Story of the game: The upcoming match is very, very important for each side. Zadar are looking to stay on a safe distance from the 13th spot, while Igokea are trying to make another major step toward the Playoffs.

During the last week, Zadar ended their losing streak by scoring a huge win against Borac in postponed game of Round 11. It means that Zadar currently have 2 wins more than 13th placed Borac and the team coached by Veljko Mršić want to keep it that way.

On the other side, Igokea are one of the 6 teams who are fighting for the Playoffs and every game is very, very important for them. The boys from Laktaši are in a pretty good form as they have won 4 out of the previous 5 games in the season.

When they head-to-head games are concerned, Igokea have a much better score than Zadar – 13:6, while it is interesting to mention that Igokea have won the previous 4 games against Zadar in ABA League.

Match-up in focus: Chinanu Onuaku (Zadar) vs. Nikola Jovanović (Igokea).

Chinanu Onuaku is Zadar’s top scorer in this season, while you could see in the previous game just how much this big man means to Zadar’s team. Onuaku recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead his team toward a big win over Borac last week. Igokea also have lots of power down in the paint thanks to their center’s tandem Jackie Carmichael – Nikola Jovanović, while it was Jovanović who was the most valuable player of the previous ABA League round when he had 16 points, 10 rebounds and the overall index rating of 31.

Head to head in the regional league: In total 6:13; In Zadar 6:3.
