Nikola Ivanović has proven, throughout the month of March, his dominance at the ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and besides the fact that he finished the month amongst the statistically most efficient players, he deserved himself the award with his contribution to the team's success – Budućnost VOLI have won all of their games during that month and are currently on a 7 games long winning streak.

The excellent combo guard in the ranks of the Morača squad averaged 13 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 2.3 and a valuation of 19.5 during the games of Budućnost VOLI.

“March was really a period, when the entire team played well and we played pretty well in some of the crucial games. My statistics are just a part of the qualify performance of the hole squad,” Ivanović remained humble when asked about his recent secret.

Dejan Milojević arrived to Podgorica as the new head tactician. Ivanović is convinced that it had an impact on their quality performances, since a couple of important Budućnost VOLI squad members used to cooperate with him before: “It did not take long for us to adapt to Miloje’s game style. Some of us have been working with him before and the others had no problem understanding his ideas either. I believe that he had a positive impact on all of us.”

And how far can Budućnost VOLI go this season per Ivanović? The leader of the Morača team does not wish to speak of championship ambitions just yet, since all of the Playoffs contenders are in a delicate situation right now: “Now a tough period is coming up for all of the teams. For the first time, the situation is so interesting and nobody has yet secured himself a Playoffs ticket. Everything is possible and we will soon find out.”
