Game recap: Igokea have scored their first ever win in the ABA League Playoffs as they defeated Crvena zvezda mts in Game 2 of the 2021 semi-finals. The score in this series is now all tied – 1:1, so Game 3 will decide which team will advance to the Finals.

This is indeed a historic day for Igokea! The boys from Laktaši have managed to score their very first win in ABA League Playoffs/Final Tournaments and they have done it in style. Igokea troops made a fantastic performance in the match against Crvena zvezda mts in which they have had the lead throughout the whole game, while at one moment they were even up by 21 points. The home team have therefore stayed in the title race, while the decisive Game 3 of this extremely exciting semi-final series will be played on Tuesday, May 11 in Belgrade.

Key moments: Igokea made a flying start in this match as they gained a double-digit lead already in the 1st quarter – 23:13. And, the home side did not stop there. The boys in black-and-gold jerseys continued dominating the court and even before the end of the 3rd quarter they have managed to increase their lead to 21 points – 60:39. In the rest of the match, Crvena zvezda mts have indeed tried everything to get back in this game, however the red-and-whites have only managed to reduce the gap to 8 points, with 2 minutes left on the game clock – 76:68. The visitors simply did not have enough time to pull off any miraculous comeback late in the 4th quarter.

Man of the match: Stefan Pot was so close of having a perfect match. Igokea's point guard scored 14 points tonight, while he missed just one single shot for the entire game – 1/1 FG2, 3/3 FG3, 3/4 FT.

Can't trick the stats: Igokea's troops had an excellent shooting night. They made 11 three-pointers out of 21 attempts, while they were also pretty good in their 2-point attempts – 13/24.
