Preseason: Victories for Budućnost VOLI, Cibona and Mornar

In the Wednesday’s preseason games, Budućnost VOLI have edged out Split, Mornar prevailed over Borac of Banja Luka, while Cibona outgunned Partizan NIS. Cedevita Olimpija suffered a defeat against Pesaro.

In the clash of the ABA League teams in Morača, Budućnost VOLI have prevailed over Split convincingly, with the final score of 88:58, after having dominated the court all game long. For Budućnost VOLI, Igor Drobnjak led the way in scoring with 18 points, while Justin Cobbs added 15. For Split, Toni Perković had 16 points and Darko Bajo 13.

Cedevita Olimpija have been defeated by the Italian side Pesaro in the Semi-final of the Opatija preseason tournament. After overtime thriller, Pesaro have prevailed with the score of 109:105. For the Dragons, Jacob Pullen was the top scorer, as he had 25 points on his record, while Jaka Blažič added 23.

In the other Semi-final clash, Cibona have outgunned Partizan NIS. The Wolves have started the game in a better fashion and were up by 11 points already after the opening quarter. In the remainder of the clash, they have managed to stick to their advantage and celebrated the win with the final score of 71:64. For Cibona, Danko Branković and Nathan Reuvers were the most efficient, as they scored 13 points each. For Partizan NIS, Yam Madar scored 12 points and Zach LeDay 11.

Mornar have outgunned Borac of Banja Luka at the Laktaši tournament, with the final score of 104:74 after being in front throughout the game, and dominating especially the second half. For Mornar, Gligorije Rakočević scored the highest number of points, as he put in 13, while Joseph Lewis had 12.
