Cedevita Olimpija and FMP to close Round 3

Story of the game: Cedevita Olimpija will host FMP in the last match of Round 3 of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.
Cedevita Olimpija have opened the season in the best possible way as they are one of the four teams who have won all games so far. The Dragons will now try to keep their perfect score in the ongoing season, but also the keep the perfect score in the home games against FMP as they have never lost against the Panthers in Ljubljana.
On the other side, FMP suffered defeat in the opening round against Budućnost VOLI on the road, but then they bounced back by defeating last year’s semifinalists Igokea at home court in Belgrade. Therefore, the Panthers are traveling to Ljubljana in high spirits as they hope that they might stun another regional powerhouse.
Match-up in focus: Jacob Pullen arrived in Cedevita Olimpija last summer and he is the team’s top scorer after the opening two rounds. Pullen is averaging 17,5 points so far and if FMP want to have any chance in this match they will have to figure out a way how to stop this top-class scorer. The answer for the Panthers might be lying in Nenad Nerandžić who’s been fairly good defensive player throughout his career. On top of that, Nerandžić is the top scorer of FMP in this season, so his duel with Cedevita Olimpija’s star player Jacob Pullen should decide many things in the upcoming match.
