Red-hot FMP host Zadar in Belgrade

Story of the game: FMP are on a 4-win streak, while this Sunday the Panthers will host Zadar in Round 6 of the 2021/22 regular season.
There is absolutely no doubt about who is the most pleasant surprise of the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season so far. FMP did lose the opening game of the new season, but the Panthers then scored 4 wins in a row, beating two of the last-year semifinalists along the way! Young head coach Nenad Stefanović and his very talented group of players are indeed showing some top-class basketball and this weekend they will try to extend their amazing winning streak in the match against Zadar.
FMP have a very good score against Zadar, especially at home court. The Panthers have won 11 out of 13 games against Zadar in Belgrade so far in the regional league.
Still, the visitors are not coming to Belgrade with a white flag. After a bad start of the new season, Zadar finally managed to score their first win in the 2021/22 championship last weekend and that result has certainly boosted the team’s morale. Now, the white-and-blues will try to stay on the winning path and pick up a very important road win that would push them toward the middle of the table.
Match-up in focus: Bryce Jones is just in incredible form. FMP’s starting point guard scored 51 points combined in the last two games, while he is currently holding the 2nd place in the MVP race. On the other side, Justin Carter is by far the best player of Zadar so far in this season. This 34-year-old guard is averaging 11.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while last weekend he led his team toward the first win in this season by scoring 18 points.
