El: Zvezda grab huge win as they beat ASVEL

Crvena zvezda mts have scored their 2nd win in a row in the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season as they defeated LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Belgrade in Round 9. The red-and-whites have once again looked very strong defensively, while with some smart plays on the other side of the court they’ve building their lead steadily throughout the game.
Zvezda’s players got a bit careless at the end when they let the French side reduce the gap from 67:50 to 70:67. But, when their captain Branko Lazić scored both free throws to extend the lead to 5 points – 72:67, with less than 10 seconds left on the game clock, it became clear that Crvena zvezda mts would grab the precious win.
Crvena zvezda mts now have the overall score of 4-5 in the 2021/22 EuroLeague regular season.
