Igokea m:tel scored a huge win over Czech team ERA Nymburk in Laktaši in Round 5 of the 2021/22 FIBA Basketball Champions League regular season.
Igokea m:tel have therefore stayed in the race for the next stage as they are now leveled with ERA Nymburk on the Group E standings with the overall score of 2-3, but what is important to mention is that the Laktaši troops have a better head-to-head score against the Czech team which might be crucial at the end of the group stage.
Igokea m:tel were chasing a 5+ points win in this match in order to have that head-to-head advantage over ERA Nymburk and they managed to grab it in the very last moments of the game. It was 73:69 for Igokea m:tel with less than 1 minute remaining on the game clock, while then Antabia Waller made the key 3-pointer that put his team in front by 7 – 76:69. That 3-pointer sealed the win for the home team and secured a precious 5+ points margin.
In the final round of the regular season, Igokea m:tel will play against PAOK on the road.
