Story of the game: Zadar and Mornar-Barsko zlato are on the same mission – escaping the bottom of the table. And that is why their upcoming game is so important for each side.
Zadar are currently sharing the last place on the standings with Split with the overall score of 2-8, while Mornar-Barsko zlato are just one place in front of them with the overall score of 3-7. Still, it should be mentioned that both Zadar and Mornar-Barsko zlato are approaching this game in high spirits as they achieved some big wins last weekend.
Zadar stunned Cedevita Olimpija on the road in the previous round and that huge win might change the whole season for this team. The boys coached by Vladimir Anzulović needed something big to happen in order to regain confidence, so they are now fired up to stay on the winning path.
On the other side, Mornar-Barsko zlato triumphed against Mega Mozaart at home last weekend and that was their 2nd win in a row in this season. Still, in order to continue their climb toward the top part of the standings, the boys from Bar will need to start winning their away games as well, as so far they are still winless on the road. Perhaps, they will break that losing streak in their away games this Sunday evening in Zadar.
