The World of Stats: Branko Lazić becomes the new all-time top scorer of Crvena zvezda mts

Branko Lazić and Nikola Ivanović (Crvena zvezda mts) have made progress on several all-time lists last weekend.

Lazić has become the all-time top scorer of Crvena zvezda mts in the regional league with a total number of 1,244 points as he surpassed Tadija Dragićević (1,234).

On top of that, Lazić has also moved up to the 17^th place on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time 3-Pointers Made list as he has so far scored a total number of 247 three-pointers, one more than his former teammate Filip Čović (246).

Nikola Ivanović has made progress on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time Top Scorers list. Ivanović (2,053) moved up by two positions and he is currently holding the 17^th place as he surpassed Bojan Krstović (2,038) and Davor Kus (2,042).

Also, Ivanović has tied with Jure Močnik at the 15th spot on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time Steals Leaders list as both of them have made 227 steals.

By scoring 15 points last weekend, Jaka Blažić (Cedevita Olimpija) has become only the 20th player in regional league history to score 2,000+ points. And that is not all as Blažič has also tied with Luka Žorić at the 19^th place on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time FG Made list. Both Blažič and Žorić have made 654 field goals.

Speaking about field goals, we should also mention that Suad Šehović (Budućnost VOLI) has tied with Siniša Štemberger at the 13^th place on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time FG Made list as both of them have now made 755 FG.

Alen Omić (Cedevita Olimpija) has entered the Top 20 of the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time Rebounds Leaders list. He now has a total number of 773 rebounds in his Admiralbet ABA League career stats, while he surpassed Luka Žorić (768) and Damir Markota (769) to reach the 19^th place on this list.

One more player has made progress on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time Rebounds Leaders list. Sava Lešić (Borac) has tied with Nebojša Joksimović at the 13^th place with both players collecting 861 rebounds.

Rok Stipčević (Krka) is making progress on several all-time lists week by week, while this time he moved up to the 17th place on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time Assists Leaders list as he surpassed Davor Kus (465). Stipčevič has so far made 467 assists in the regional league.

Budućnost VOLI scored 110 points in the last-round match against Krka and that is the 2021/22 season record for the most points scored in a single game by one team.

Also, Budućnost VOLI’s team index rating in that match was 158 and that is the 2^nd best team single-game index rating in league history. The all-time record in this category is still in possession of Crvena zvezda mts who had a team index rating of 161 in the match against Bosna, back in 2003.

Marko Simonović (Crvena  zvezda mts) has played his 269th game in the AdmiralBet ABA League and has therefore tied with Smiljan Pavič at the 11^th place on the AdmiralBet ABA League All-Time Games Played list. He needs to play just one more game to tie with Bojan Krstović (270) who is currently holding the 10^th place.
