Crvena zvezda mts seized a big road win as they defeated UNICS Kazan in Russia in Round 26 of the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.

After two consecutive defeats that they suffered last week in this competition, the red-and-whites really wanted to show to everyone that they are still very capable of beating the best European teams. And, they proved that in Kazan this Friday evening.

Crvena zvezda mts presented a fantastic away performance against a team that is placed in the Top 8 zone on the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings. Led by Nikola Kalinić (20 pts) and Nathan Wolters (19pts), the Belgrade side made the key 9:0 run in the 4th quarter to take the 7-point lead – 78:71 – that they have successfully kept until the end of the game.

This was the 9th for Crvena zvezda mts in the ongoing Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and they now have the overall score of 9-14.
