Crvena zvezda mts have extended their winning streak in the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season to four games as they defeated Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Belgrade – 84:77.

Crvena zvezda mts have extended their winning streak in the 2021/22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season to four games as they defeated Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Belgrade – 84:77.

After making a flying start and having a 14-point lead after the opening quarter – 24:10, Crvena zvezda mts troops slowed down a bit in the 2nd quarter, therefore letting Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv reduce the gap to just 3 points by halftime – 42:39.

The Belgrade team stepped on the gas pedal once again with the start of the 2nd half in which have been constantly in front, while they increased their lead to 12 points by the middle of the 4th quarter – 72:60. Still, that was not the end of this thrilling game.

The visitors have once again found a way to reduce the gap as they came just 4 points behind – 74:70 - with less than 4 minutes remaining on the game clock. But, Crvena zvezda mts players had enough strength to defend their lead in the key moments. The red-and-whites made the crucial 8:3 run to once again escape on a safe distance – 82:73 and to eventually seize a very big win in this match.
