Helios Suns extend their winning streak in the 2021/22 NLB ABA League 2 as they defeated Pelister-Bitola in Round 12. This was the 5^th consecutive win for Helios Suns in the ongoing championship and it keeps them in the race for the 1^st place in the regular season.

The game itself was very exciting as each side had a chance to win it until the very end. Finally, Miroslav Pašajlić 's 3-pointer for 82:78 and Venkatesha Jois’s dunk for 84:80 were crucial for Helios Suns to keep their lead. Still, it has to be mentioned that Pelister-Bitola had a chance to take this game into overtime at the score of 84:81, but Nikola Malešević’s 3-pointer from almost half court was not good.

The MVP of today’s game was without any doubt Helios Suns star player Blaž Mahkovic who scored 32 points (23 already in the 1^st half), while he also had 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His overall index rating was 45!
