Vladimir Jovanović is the new Budućnost VOLI head coach

The Čačak-born tactician will take over the helm of the club of Podgorica and will lead it in the forthcoming period.

For five years Vladimir Jovanović used to be a right hand of the head coach Duško Vujošević at Partizan NIS of Belgrade, until becoming a head coach himself. With only 38 years of age he won the regional league trophy in the Final Four, where he prevailed in the Semi-finals against the club that he is taking over now in a close finish.

After Partizan NIS he moved to Donetsh, Igokea m:tel, only to sign with the Lokomotiv Kuban, where he used to work on developing talented players of the Russian club basketball. He also used to lead the Shenzen Leopards in China, before becoming Mega MIS head coach.

In the Belgrade squad he is remembered for his excellent work with youngsters.

Vladimir Jovanović novi je trener Budućnosti VOLI

Rođeni Čačanin, preuzeće kormilo podgoričkog kluba i vodiće ga u narednom periodu.

Pet godina je bio desna ruka Duška Vujoševića u Partizanu, prije nego što i sam nije postao trener "crno-bijelih". Sa samo 38 godina je osvojio ABA ligu u tadašnjem Final 4 sistemu, gdje je u polufinalu bio bolji upravo od podgoričkog kluba u tijesnoj utakmici. 

Nakon Partizana radio je u Donjecku, Igokei, da bi potom potpisao za Lokomotivu Kubanj, gdje je radio i na razvoju talenata giganta ruske klupske košarke.

Trenirao je i Šenžen Leoparde (tada "Avijatičare") u Kini, prije nego što je postao trener Mege. 

U beogradskom timu Vladimir Jovanović radio je sjajan posao, pogotovo sa akcentom na rad sa mladim igračima.
