Mega MIS started preparations for the 2022/23 season

Mega MIS have officially started their preparations for the following season as they held their first training this Monday.

New head coach Marko Barać had 7 players to work with in the first team practice session, including Luka Cerovina, Nikola Đurišič, Matej Rudan, Danko Branković, Malcolm Cazalon, Oleksandr Kobzystyi and Jovan Sljivancanin. American point guard Ahmaad Rorie and Bogoljub Marković will join the team tomorrow, while young national team members Petar Kovačević, Mihailo Mušikić, Andrija Grbović and Luka Bogavac will join the practice sessions from Thursday.

And just like in every previous season in which they participated in the AdmiralBet ABA League, Mega MIS will once again have the youngest team in the region with an average age of 20.1.

Apart from first team head coach Marko Barać, the coaching staff of Mega MIS in the new season will also consist of assistant coaches Tomislav Tomović and Djordje Ilić, physical and conditioning coach Marko Sekulić, physiotherapist Miloš Savić, team doctor Dr. Uroš Stanković, as well as Novica Veličković in the position of team manager.

After the first training session this summer, Mega’s coach Marko Barać pointed out that his team has enough time to prepare for the 2022/23 season:

“It is a great pleasure to finally be in the gym. We were a bit short in numbers at the first training, but we should have the whole team together by the end of the week. We have plenty of time ahead of us to learn to do things as a team, to establish our style of play and to achieve the necessary degree of cohesion. I would like to thank the management of the club for providing us extraordinary working conditions. In the coming period, preparation games and tournaments await us, where we will have an excellent opportunity to check at what level we are currently at,” said team head coach Marko Barać.

Marko Barac. Mega MIS je započela pripreme za novu sezonu

Košarkaški klub Mega MIS je započeo pripreme za sezonu 2022/23!

Na prvom treningu u novoj sezoni u hali Mega Factory kod trenera Marka Baraća su bili sledeći igrači: Luka Cerovina, Nikola Đurišić, Matej Rudan, Danko Branković, Malkolm Kazalon, Oleksandr Kobzistij i Jovan Šljivančanin. Američki plejmejker Ahmad Rori i Bogoljub Marković će se ekipi pridružiti već sutra, dok će se mladi reprezentativci Petar Kovačević, Mihailo Mušikić, Andrija Grbović, Luka Bogavac posle odmora nakon obaveza sa reprezentacijama, priključiti treninzima od četvrtka.

Kao i od početka svog takmičenja u ABA ligi, Mega MIS će imati najmlađu ekipu sa prosekom godina 20,1.

Stručni štab Mege u novoj sezoni, pored glavnog trenera Marka Baraća, činiće još pomoćni treneri Tomislav Tomović i Đorđe Ilić, kondicioni trener Marko Sekulić, fizioterapeut Miloš Savić, doktor ekipe dr Uroš Stanković, kao i Novica Veličković na poziciji tim menadžera.

Trener Mege Marko Barać je posle prvog treninga u novoj sezoni istakao da njegova ekipa ima dovoljno vremena da uspostavi neophodan stepen uigranosti:

– Veliko je zadovoljstvo konačno biti u sali. Okupili smo se u nešto manjem broju iz opravdanih razloga, ali bi već do kraja nedelje trebali da imamo na okupu celu ekipu. Imamo ispred sebe dovoljno vremena da naučimo da radimo stvari kao tim, da uspostavimo naš stil i našu terminologiju i da postignemo neophodan stepen uigranosti. Zahvalio bih se menadžmentu kluba na izvanrednim uslovima za rad koji su nam obezbedili. U narednom periodu nas očekuju kontrolne utakmice i turniri na kojima ćemo imati odličnu priliku da proverimo na kom se nivou trenutno nalazimo, izjavio je Marko Barać.
