SC Derby turned on its engines
SC Derby has started its training camp ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Students have gathered this morning in Donji Kokoti, where their first practice in the new season has taken place. Zvonimir and Tomislav Ivišić, Emir Hadžibegović, Boris Tišma, Danilo Ivanović, Vladimir Sudar and Vasilije Todorović are the players that showed up for the first practice ahead of the new season. By the end of the week, the arrival of Fletcher Magee is expected, while the other players are on training camps with their respective national teams and will join the team after the end of the national team obligations.
“I am happy that we are back together. The players got some rest during the summer and are ready for work. They have to be totally focused for work and practice. We have included some young players from youth categories to the team and are waiting for some additional players in the coming days. I hope that we would be ready when the internationals come back and it is important that the guys, that arrived to today’s practice are healthy and eager for work. The conditions are on a high level, just like previous season and it is our task to take advantage of that in a right way and that these preparations are successful," coach Andrej Žakelj told.

SC Derby jutros je počeo sa pripremama za novu sezonu 2022/23.
"Studenti" su se okupili u 10 časova u sali u Donjim Kokotima gdje je održan prvi trening u novoj sezoni. Na prozivci su bili Zvonimir i Tomislav Ivišić, Emir Hadžibegović, Boris Tišma, Danilo Ivanović, Vladimir Sudar i Vasilije Todorović. Krajem nedelje se očekuje dolazak Flečera Megija, dok su ostali košarkaši na pripremama sa svojim reprezentacijama i priključiće se ekipi po završetku reprezentativnih obaveza.
"Drago mi je da smo se opet okupili, momci su odmorili tokom ljeta i spremni su da rade. Moraju biti totalno fokusirani na rad i trening. Priključili smo ekipi i neke mlade košarkaše iz omladinskog i kadetskog pogona, dok čekamo još igrača narednih dana. Nadam se da kad se vrate reprezentativci da ćemo biti spremni ali je bitno da su momci koji su došli danas na trening zdravi, željni rada. Uslovi su nam na visokom nivou, kao i prethodne sezone a na nama je da to iskoristimo na pravi način i da će ove pripreme, ako sve bude kako treba, biti uspješne", rekao je trener Andrej Žakelj.
