2023 WC Qualifiers: Serbia grab huge win as they beat Turkey on the road
Serbia have scored their 2nd consecutive win in the final stage of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers as they defeated Turkey on the road in dramatic match.

Serbia have scored their 2nd consecutive win in the final stage of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers as they defeated Turkey on the road in dramatic match.
Serbia had a 19-point lead at halftime, however Turkey managed to bounce back in the 2nd half and to tie the score in the final quarter. The key moment happened with less than 2 minutes remaining on the game clock when former Crvena zvezda mts player Nikola Kalinić scored a huge 3-pointer to put his team in front – 75:72. Serbia went on to score 4 more points in the remaining time to complete a 7:0 run and to seal this very important win – 79:72.
Meanwhile, Slovenia won’t be too happy with their performance today in Munich as they suffered a pretty heavy defeat against Germany – 90:71. Slovenia were down by just 2 points at halftime, but then they let Germany score no less than 57 points in the remaining 20 minutes, which was more than enough for the hosts to pick up a comfortable win.
