PRESEASON: Victories for Igokea m:tel and Zadar

Igokea m:tel have tested their readiness in their first preseason game ahead of the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League season and they have been successful right at the start, as they have prevailed over Dynamic VIP PAY in Laktaši, convincingly, with the final score of 78:62. For the hosts, Nikola Tanasković was the most efficient in scoring with 18 points, while he has been followed by Nikola Marić and Haris Delalić, who had 12 apiece.

Mega MIS have faced Pinar Karsiyaka in their Mega Factory hall and in a game, where neither of the two squads managed to significantly pull away at any point, ended the game against Turkish side with a draw. 82:82 was the final score in Belgrade. Danko Branković topped the list of scorers for Mega MIS with 20 points. Nikola Đurišić had 16.

At the Sassari Tournament, Cedevita Olimpija faced hosts Dinamo Sassari in their second preparation game ahead of the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League season and suffered the second defeat. The Dragons have been in the battle for the win all until the final moments of the overtime, when eventually Dinamo Sassari prevailed by a point (98:97). For Cedevita Olimpija Yogi Ferrell was on top of the list of scorers with 25 points, and it was Josh Adams, that followed him with 23.

Zadar are the winners of the 17th Tomislav Knežević memorial tournament in Jazine, after beating Alkar in the Semi-final and afterwards Gorica in the Final. On Saturday night, they have prevailed over Gorica in a close game, that has finished with the score of 82:78 in favour of Zadar. For the Dalmatian squad, Luka Božić once again topped the scorers’ list with 19 points, alongside Dario Drežnjak, who scored just as many.
