Win over Borac Mozzart ties Zadar's best start since 2008

There are lot of reasons for celebration in Zadar after they clinched another win in the ongoing season.
The boys coached by Danijel Jusup defeated Borac Mozzart last evening in Čačak and have therefore scored their 3rd win in the first 4 rounds of the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign.
That is the best start of the season for this club since the 2008/09 campaing when they also had a 3-1 score after the opening 4 rounds. Back then, Zadar defeated Split, Cibona and Bosna, before losing from Partizan in the 4th round.
In the ongoing season, Zadar have so far prevailed over SC Derby, Mega MIS and Borac Mozzart, while their only defeat came in the road game against Mornar-Barsko zlato.
In the next round, Zadar will host Split in the match in which they will most certainly have a huge support from their fans at Višnjik, as with another win the white-and-blues might actually start dreaming about making it to the regional league Playoffs after so many years.
The last time Zadar played in the regional league Final Tournaments/Playoffs was in the 2007/08 season when they reached the semi-finals.
