EL: Partizan Mozzart Bet use brilliant 3rd quarter performance to beat Alba at home

Partizan Mozzart Bet are back on the winning track in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague as they defeated Alba Berlin at home. At the same time, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered a painful defeat on the road against Bayern Munich.

Partizan Mozzart Bet are back on the winning track in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague as they defeated Alba Berlin at home. At the same time, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered a painful defeat on the road against Bayern Munich.

Partizan Mozzart Bet had plenty of troubles against Alba Berlin in the opening 20 minutes, especially defensively as the German side scored 44 points in the first half. Yet, the black-and-whites were down by just 2 points at the big break – 42:44, while after the teams returned on court, the Belgrade side started dominating the game.

Partizan Mozzart Bet won the 3rd quarter by 35:9! The boys coached by Željko Obradović have therefore taken over the lead and left their opponents far behind in front of the final 10 minutes – 77:53.

With another win in the ongoing Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, Partizan Mozzart Bet improved their overall score to 14-12 and made another big step toward the Playoffs.

On the other side, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet will try to forget their game as soon as possible as the red-and-whites let a huge away win slip out of their hands in the final minutes of the game in Munich. The red-and-whites were up by 75:66, with 5 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, but then Bayern Munich made an incredible 21:5 run to pull off a major comeback and seize the win – 80:87.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet now have the overall score of 11-15.
