EC: Defeats for Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija at the end of Regular Season

In the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season Round 17, both Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija suffered defeats, against Turk Telekom and JL Bourg, respectively.

Budućnost VOLI have suffered a defeat in the 17th round of the 7DAYS EuroCup season, on the road in Ankara against Turk Telekom. Budućnost VOLI have successfully resisted the hosts for 10 minutes, after which the score was 19:19, but in the second quarter, Turk Telekom have dominated the court and prevailed at the end of the first half with the score of 39:30. In the second half, they managed to cruise towards the win with the final score of 77:72 For Budućnost VOLI, Aleksandar Lazić led the way in scoring with 16 points on his record and Trae Bell-Haynes added 14.

In the Eight-finals, Budućnost VOLI will face Ratiopharm Ulm.

In the other game of the day, Cedevita Olimpija have hosted Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse at home in their Stožice Arena in Ljubljana in their last 7DAYS EuroCup appearance of the season and after a good first half, suffered a defeat against the French side. Cedevita Olimpija were ahead by 9 points at halftime, but as the teams returned to the court in the second half, JL Bourg dominated the court and prevailed in the third quarter alone with the score of 13:29, thus turning the game completely upside-down. In the end, the visiting side prevailed with the score of 75:88. For Cedevita Olimpija, Karlo Matković was atop of the list of scorers with 28 points, while Edo Murić had 15 on his record.
