This season has been truly incredible for Zadar star player Luka Božić.

Božić was named the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season NLB MVP, while he also helped his Zadar reach the Playoffs after many years.

And on top of that, Božić has managed to break the 18-year-old league record that was previously held by former Partizan player Dejan Milojević.

Before this season, Dejan Milojević was the only player who had 30+ average index rating in a single regular season. He averaged 30.8 index rating in the 2004/05 regular season and that was the official league record for 18 long years.

But, then Zadar’s forward Luka Božić showed up in the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign and wrote a new page in the league history books.

Božić averaged 32.6 index rating in the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season and have therefore set the new all-time record for the highest average index rating in a single regular season.

Once again, congratulations Luka! Your performance in this season has been truly amazing!
