Luka Bogavac becomes first newcomer in SC Derby’s 2023/24 roster

SC Derby have completed their first summer transfer as they signed a contract with former Podgorica star player Luka Bogavac.

This 19-year-old guard started his pro career in Mega MIS in the 2021/22 season, while last summer he moved to Podgorica with whom he played in the 2022/23 NLB ABA League 2 championship. Bogavac was one of Podgorica best players in the previous season as he averaged 14.3 points, 4.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in the 2022/23 NLB ABA League 2 campaign.

Bogavac was part of U19 Mega MIS team that won the U19 ABA League Championship back in 2021, while he won the silver medal with U20 Montenegro national team at the U20 EuroBasket in 2022.

Jedan od najtalentovanijih crnogorskih košarkaša, Luka Bogavac, od danas je novi igrač SC Derby-a.

Riječ je o momku koji igra na poziciji kombo beka, koji je u prethodnoj sezoni pokazao sjajan napredak u igri, kao klasičan bek i sekundarni organizator igre.

Bio je jedan od najboljih pojedinaca ekipe KK Podgorica i odlično ih je predvodio u ABA 2 ligi, posebno kroz plejof.

Kroz karijeru nosio je i dres Mege sa kojom ima osvojenu juniorsku ABA ligu 2021. godine.

Sa U20 reprezentacijom Crne Gore je na Evropskom prvenstvu osvojio bronzanu medalju u Podgorici.
