Budućnost VOLI add sharp shooter Fletcher Magee to their 2023/24 roster

After Andrija Slavković, another former SC Derby is moving to Budućnost VOLI this summer.

Budućnost VOLI announced that they have signed contract with sharp shooter Fletcher Magee!

Magee spent the previous 3 seasons in SC Derby. He firstly helped the club reach the AdmiralBet ABA League, while he then became one of the team top scorers while playing in the top tier of the regional basketball.

This 26-year-old shooting guard averaged 13.7 points in the previous season, with a 3-point shooting percentage of 42.2%.

Fletcher Magee studied at the Wofford College where he has made quite a name for himself as during his 4-year journey (2015-2019) he set the all-time NCAA record for the most 3-pointers scored in league history.

After not being selected in the 2019 NBA draft, Magee decided to start his pro career overseas, so he went to Spain to join Obradorio for the 2019/20 season.

He then spent 3 years in SC Derby, while in the following season he will wear the blue-and-white jersey of Budućnost VOLI.

Magee is the 3rd newcomer to join Budućnost VOLI this summer ater Andrija Slavković (SC Derby) and Andrija Grbović (Mega MIS).

Nakon četiri godine provedene na koledžu Wofford, Flečer je evropski put započeo u španskom Obradoiru.

Prethodne sezone u ABA ligi je postizao 13.7 poena uz šut za tri poena od 42.2%.

Sa 146 ubačenih trojki u prethodne dvije sezone najbolji je šuter u regionalnoj ligi i prepoznat kao igrač koji postiže najteže šuteve preko ruke i van balansa.
